LK 1.5. Updates: Celebrating 8 Years of Randomness & Website Improvements

Hey everyone, this is Prince writing. 

Time really flies, things we once loved are growing old, and now the younger generation is already calling us unc.

Today marks 8 years of randomness on LK Channel. This year, has been a great run for LK with the release of the first part of Prille & Beccky: Winter Special and some exciting changes over at one of my fictional companies, EmpirePrince, during Q1 of 2025.

Now, some of you might be wondering: "Wait, wasn’t LK created on November 10, 2018? Shouldn’t it be 6 years old instead?"

You're not entirely wrong. The current version of LK Channel was indeed launched on November 10, 2018. But the original LK Channel actually started on May 1, 2017 under a different username, back when I was just 9 years old.

Unfortunately, the original channel was deleted on November 10, 2018 when I was 11, which is the exact same month I was planning to bring it back, mainly because I made a hateful video out of one user; which is during the period where I joined the toxic part of the AUTTP community, which my parents weren't okay with.

From a kid who started a YouTube channel to campaigning for a cinema in a small village, to an AUTTP user caught in wild dramas, to the channel we know today. Our YouTube journey has been a long, fascinating ride.

To mark this 8th anniversary, I’ve also now made a few updates to simplify some of the channel’s features (and there will be more new features to come later):

1. More simplified, modernized search bar

2. A new menu bar

With the Q1 2025 of EmpirePrince, there will be also significant changes of the LK branding with notably LK's regional channels (LK Atlantic and LK International Asia-Pacific, e.g.), EmpirePrince-owned Nordic assets (like the well-known prille64) are now part of the newly-formed company XTV Nordics and the fictious merger between EmpirePrince-owned ITV and Channel 4.

However, LK's main website and LK Chill-Out Zone on Discord will remain the same as before; and the second part of Prille & Beccky: Winter Special are still in development.
